After installing the Touch Screen Addon, a new “Touch Screen Addon” option appears under the Addons Menu in Busy. Clicking it opens an intuitive interface with the following options:

  • Add
  • Modify
  • List
  • Configuration
  • Print Configuration
  • Exit

Each option is optimized for speed and usability with large clickable buttons suitable for touch devices.


⚙️ 2. Configuration Settings

Before billing, configure the addon through the Configuration menu:

  • Voucher Series: Choose which series to save your sales vouchers under.
  • Party Name: Default party like “Cash” or any walk-in customer type.
  • Material Centre: Select from where stock will be reduced (e.g., “Main Store”).
  • Sale Type: Choose tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive sale types (e.g., L/GST-TaxIncl).
  • Pick Item Qty From: Define from where default quantity should be picked (e.g., Item Option Field, Address Fields, or set to N.A.).
  • Default Quantity: Set a default (e.g., 1), so every selected item auto-loads with that quantity.
  • Voucher Save As: Choose whether to create a Sale Voucher or Material Issue Voucher.
  • Display Options:
    • Hide or show Settlement and Sale Return buttons.
    • Enable With Item Image view for visual ease.
  • Barcode Settings: Adjust barcode configuration with positions for item name, quantity, price, and amount.

Use the Print Configuration option to define user-wise print formats. This allows automatic invoice printing based on saved vouchers.

Click Add to start billing. The “Add Sales” window opens with the following features:

📅 Auto-Filled Details:

  • Date, Voucher No., Party Name, and Sale Man are auto-filled based on configuration.

📦 Item Selection:

You can:

  • Scan a barcode using the provided input field.
  • Select items directly from the List of Items or Item Group Panel on the right.

🧾 Once selected, items appear in a grid with:

  • Qty
  • Price
  • Amount
  • Plus/minus buttons for quantity adjustment
  • A delete (X) button to remove any line item

🧾 Settlement Buttons:

  • Cash + Print: Saves voucher as a cash sale and prints it instantly.
  • Card + Print: Opens settlement window for payment by card before printing.
  • Cash: Saves sale as cash without printing.
  • Bank: Saves sale as a bank transaction.
  • Settlement: Manual settlement window.
  • Sale Return: For returning sold items.
  • Hold Voucher: Pause billing temporarily.
  • Resume Voucher: Retrieve a held voucher and resume billing.

This setup is optimized for touch billing counters, where speed and clarity are essential.

  • Modify: Edit an existing voucher by voucher number or date.
  • List: View all previous vouchers for reprint, review, or export.
